The HortiQD Project proudly announces the publication of its first scientific paper: “Synthesis of NIR/SWIR Absorbing InSb Nanocrystals Using Indium(I) Halide and Aminostibine Precursors”. This research offers a safer, efficient method for creating InSb quantum dots, vital for NIR/SWIR applications.
Abstract Highlights:
New Synthesis Method: Uses indium(I) halides as both an indium source and mild reducing agent, yielding phase-pure InSb QDs.
Broad Applicability: Suitable for NIR/SWIR photodetectors, cameras, biological imaging, and telecommunications.
Scalable Process: The heat-up synthesis method facilitates industrial-scale production.
This publication marks a significant milestone for HortiQD, highlighting our innovative research and collaboration efforts. Stay tuned for more groundbreaking developments!
